Heather & Patrick tie the knot!

30 Nov

Heather and Patrick tied the knot (literally) this past June in charming Merrickville. It was such a beautiful day! The stone-walled banquet hall looked incredible, the flowers were stunning and the bride could not have been more lovely. A special ceremony joined these two sweethearts which included the tradition of hand-fasting which fit beautifully into their “hand” theme. Their amazing wedding day was filled with so many meaningful moments and beautiful handmade details which left me both inspired and touched at the same time. I feel very honoured to have been there to capture such an important day in their lives.

~ Filmed on Kodak 16mm and super 8mm film ~

Well said Anne Marie. Once more Bridget…capturing magic only film and motion can do. The absence of sound fills the film with so much more magic! A lovely job also by Erin at Full Bloom…a true artist with floral design. Everything came together beautifully. Bravo Cher!

Thank you Melanie! I agree and feel that films without sound are dream-like and often closer to the way our minds remember events.
And Erin’s work blew me away! Her artistry definitely shows.

Wow. What a beautiful film and what a beautiful bride. Every bride and groom should be able to remember their wedding day this way.
